Current Position and Research Areas: Austin is a Scientific Programmer for the Space Dynamics Laboratory in Albuquerque, NM. His current research involves modeling Jupiter's thermospheric regions in the auroral zone in support of the Juno mission as well as ionospheric and over-the-horizon radar modeling. His long-term goal is to send an orbiter to Neptune to investigate the atmosphere, magnetosphere, and its moons.
