On behalf of the Earth and space science community, the American Geophysical Union has selected Southwest Research Institute’s Dr. James L. Burch to receive the 2021 William Bowie Medal, the organization’s highest honor.

The medal honors Burch’s pioneering achievements and contributions to pushing forward the frontiers of Earth and space science, including contributions to fundamental investigations as well as unselfish cooperation in research. Read More for the SwRI Press Release.
