UTSA’s space-related programs, in collaboration with Southwest Research Institute, offer students hands-on experience in rocket propulsion and space physics. Michael Velez, a graduate student in the joint UTSA-SwRI Space Physics program, is contributing to NASA’s Europa Clipper Mission, which aims to study Jupiter’s moon. The partnership equips students with the skills needed to succeed in space science and exploration careers.
