Recent spacecraft observations have revealed small Solar System bodies such as our Moon and Pluto’s moon Charon to present surface albedos shaped by their environments.

Plasma in space is frozen into magnetic fields, and the continuous outflow of the solar wind from the Sun carries these fields to directly interact with Earth’s magnetosphere.
