Current Position and Research Areas: Alexis is currently a postdoctoral researcher at Southwest Research Institute. His work includes researching volatiles in icy moons of the Solar System. Alexis has also accepted a position as a postdoctoral researcher in Laboratoire d’Astrophysique de Marseille (LAM), funded by a CNES (Centre National d’Etudes Spatiales – the french space agency) fellowship. His research will be in high-energy irradiation of ice analogs for jovian moons.
